Digital Living Network Alliancesm Membership

The Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) is a non-profit collaborative trade organization chartered with delivering an interoperability framework of design guidelines based on open industry standards to complete the cross-industry digital convergence. The value proposition to manufacturers and content providers will be to ensure that all devices designed around DLNA guidelines communicate, which opens up new ways to differentiate and expand existing product categories. The value of the digital home vision is its ability to provide consumers with a wide range of compelling uses and experiences. Join the DLNA

Membership gives you the opportunity to contribute to the advancement of the DLNA design guidelines as well as participate in DLNA compliance workshops and PlugFests. See Current Membership List.

How to Join:

  1. Complete the online form.
  2. Download and review the Contributor Membership documents.
  3. Print and fill out the Contributor Membership agreement.
  4. Return agreement along with annual fee.

Contributor Membership documents including the agreement, Bylaws, IPR Policy, Summary of Member Fees and Work Group Procedures will be available for download following the submission of your online form.

Upon the receipt of both your membership agreement and membership fee payment, your company membership will be activated and you will be given access to the members-only area of the DLNA web site.

DLNA Contributor Membership Rights and Obligations

Rights

  • Participate in DLNA Committees and Subcommittees
  • Company presentations/participation in DLNA events and compliance workshops
  • Company recognition on the DLNA web site with a hyperlink to your company's web site
  • Access to the member-only discussion groups and the mailing lists
  • Access to pre-publication drafts of the design guidelines and internal working documents
  • Review and comment on new design guidelines prior to their adoption
  • Network with other DLNA members

Obligations

  • Initial Membership Fee of $10,000 due upon joining
  • Annual Membership Renewal Fee of $10,000 due upon each anniversary
  • Must nominate one primary contact person
