Charter

The Ecosystem Committee will further the creation of the digital home market by:

  • Defining DLNA Usage framework and verifying consumer acceptance of DLNA interoperability framework
  • Providing strategy, guidance and priorities for future DLNA guidelines and program development based on market needs
  • Building the industry relationships necessary to create a digital home ecosystem

Scope:

The EC is responsible for generating use cases and verifying the user scenarios by conducting focus group interviews, running pilot programs and sharing market survey experiences with other consortia.

The EC will work with other DLNA working groups to ensure that its market-driven strategies and goals are disseminated throughout the organization.

The EC is responsible for jumpstarting the industry relationships with other consortia to create a digital home ecosystem nucleus.
