Charter
GDS (a Subcommittee of the Technical Committee) will create timely, enhanced Versions of the DLNA Design Guidelines. These enhanced Design Guidelines will build on the existing design guidelines by adding features and functions, and improvements to elevate the user’s experience of accessing A/V content in the DLNA environment.
Scope
The Guideline Develoment Subcommittee will:
- Identify technical requirements based on “DLNA Development Process” projects or identified improvements as input from the Ecosystem Committee and directed to the GDS by the Technical Committee.
- identify the technologies, standards and specifications that satisfy the requirements
- Produce new, improved, or more compatible technical design guidelines meeting these requirements.
