DLNA Chairman to Present at Connected Home World Summit

WHO: Nidhish Parikh, chairman of the Board of Directors and president of the Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA), will be speaking at the Connected Home World Summit .

WHEN: The Connected Home World Summit will be held June 28-29, 2011. Parikh’s panel presentation will take place at 11:50 a.m. Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) on Tuesday, June 28.

WHERE: The event will take place at the Grand Connaught Rooms (formerly the New Connaught Rooms), in London’s Covent Garden.

WHAT: Presented by Informa, The Connected Home World Summit brings together key industry players to discuss the future of the connected home including the influence of the Internet-connected TV, TV- everywhere strategies, new technology and consumer electronics advancements, unified cloud services, content protection and standardization.

Parikh will participate in a panel presentation, “Assessing the Effects of Developments in Consumer Electronics.” He will discuss how DLNA Certified® devices enable a connected digital lifestyle that allows consumers to easily connect and enjoy content across products, regardless of manufacturer. Parikh will provide attendees with a look at how DLNA is successfully promoting standards-based technology worldwide and will also share information about the Alliance and its member companies’ contributions to the progression of today’s connected digital home.
