CEATEC Seminar: Preparing for a New Era of Streaming Devices, Experiences and Services

To register:

The Digital Living Network Association (DLNA) has recently published DLNA guidelines, called DLNA 4.0, that improve the media sharing experience of consumers in their homes. DLNA 4.0 enables consumers to easily share audio, video, and photo media among devices, including smart phones, smart TVs, and PCs.  It also supports streaming and sharing of internet media within the home. DLNA 4.0 has major features to improve interoperability, so that devices easily share media without user intervention. These DLNA 4.0 features are especially important because of the large variety of new media formats which consumer devices are now using.

In addition, DLNA 4.0 enables state-of-the-art home networks. Energy efficiency is supported through the use of power state signaling. Also, IPV6 deployment models are now supported.  In addition, reliability is improved because advanced diagnostics capabilities are introduced to DLNA 4.0

Join Mr. Duncan Bees, DLNA and Dr. Stephen Palm, Broadcom & Director of DLNA, as they explain these advances in media sharing technology, and will answer questions about DLNA 4.0.
